Are you a freelancer or consultant working in the Charity sector in North East England?
Join us for our co-working/slow networking meet-ups!
This informal, relaxed day is all about co-working and slow networking. Whether you’re tackling your to-do list, brainstorming ideas, or just looking to share experiences with like-minded professionals, you’ll find a supportive and welcoming community here.
We host these events every 2 months at the back of the café in One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle, on the second Thursday of that month, from 9:30 am to 4pm.
Drop in for the whole day or just a couple of hours - whatever works best for you!
It’s free to come, but we do ask you to book a spot so we can make sure there’s space for everyone. The event dates and booking links are further down this page.
So, grab your laptop, your notebook, or just yourself, and come along for a day of connection, collaboration, and creativity. We can’t wait to see you there!
Thanks
From your host
Carrie Brookes
Why did I set this up?
The truth is working as a freelancer can sometimes feel lonely! While there are plenty of networking events for businesses and charities, there’s a gap for us freelancers and consultants who support them.
I wanted to create a space to bring people together – whether you’re looking for collaboration, conversation, or just a sense of community. It’s also a chance to see who else is out there working in this incredible sector and to build connections to inspire and support us all.
